When it comes to modern military operations, robotic technology provides a tremendous tactical advantage. Drones, ground robots and autonomous vehicles are routinely used for missions such as intelligence-gathering, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), allowing military personnel to conduct operations from a safe distance.
