Proven modular technology cuts costs of new Project V9X engine.
The V6 3.0-L turbodiesel concept is now consolidating its position as the generic engine of choice for European premium car manufacturers, providing relatively low fuel consumption and emissions plus high performance and driveability.
One of the new arrivals for MY2009 is the narrow angle (65°) V6 dCi from the Renault-Nissan Alliance. It will power models from both companies plus the latest range of Infiniti models that are now emerging onto the European market. The engine will also power Nissan models for the U.S. market from MY2010. The unit's first application is in the Renault Laguna Coupe.
