The world's premier aerospace event showcases the latest in aerospace technology and puts emphasis on career opportunities.

This year's Paris Air Show (June 18 through 24) at Le Bourget will be the largest ever held. It will include some 2000 exhibitors from 45 countries and is expected to attract more than 200,000 trade visitors. As well as major contractors, the show will put particular focus on subcontractors and suppliers and it will also include a strong B2B element in a Business and Technology Forum, and a major Aerospace Careers Fair.

As many qualified engineers within the struggling U.S. auto industry review the security of their jobs, aerospace design and manufacturing is a possible alternative to consider. Aerospace is also looking to attract more university graduates about to embark on an engineering career. It is not just the leading aircraft and defense equipment manufacturers who need more high-level specialists but, increasingly, aerospace component makers and suppliers. The Paris Air Show gives them the opportunity to present their capabilities not only to customers but also to possible employees.
