STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA HAVE SPURRED FEATURE NEW IDEAS FOR AERODYNAMICS DEVELOPMENT IN FORMULA SAE WITH THEIR NEWEST WING PACKAGE.

FORMULA SAE STUDENTS BROADEN the boundaries of aerodynamics development every season. This year, the growth was evident at FSAE California where eight programs showcased front and rear wings, one team of which arrived with moving airfoils.

The University of Oklahoma's Sooner Racing team arrived at competition having already generated discussion about its new active aerodynamics system via a YouTube video, “Sooner Racing Gives You Wings! (That Move).” In less than a month, thousands watched the clip. Word spread across web communities and various social networking pages within hours.
