Performance, reliability, and cleanliness are just a few of the golden rules for all engines, whether they are propelling a tractor or powering a barn.
The engine is the ultimate component of off-highway equipment since without it-even with the best electronics, the most comfortable seats, the most skilled operators-you are not going anywhere. That is also true for the engines used in the industry not necessarily for driving tractors across the field or trucks across the mine; for engines that literally go nowhere.
There are multiple uses and applications for engines in stationary power equipment. And the engineers designing them often face the same challenges in terms of technology as well as global regulations.
