What benefits has motorsport ever given the motor industry? It is a question that is often asked.
To the consumer, it is entertainment and, in general, to the vehicle manufacturer, it still represents one of the best forms of product promotion, as it is instinctive for consumers to draw a link between the cars they see winning at the weekend and the cars they drive on the road. But, in reality, we know that the two are built to very different criteria. So how much technology and learning can be transferred to the road?
