Honeywell Normalair Garrett Ltd. and Flowmaster Inc. have developed a new approach to managing the complex and varied tasks required for the simulation of aircraft systems.
Computer simulation of complete aircraft hydraulic systems has seldom been undertaken. The systems can be large and complex and present many problems for both model creation and analysis. A new approach developed by Honeywell Normalair Garrett Ltd. (HNGL), in conjunction with Flowmaster Intl., addresses the data management problem in the development of large hydraulic models. The method has been applied to actual complex models of the Nimrod hydraulic system.
