Impact of Ultra-Capacitor in a Battery Electric Vehicle

- As mass adoption of Electric Vehicle is underway across the globe, it is necessary to study the impact of high C rate charge and dis-charge of Li-Ion battery due to drive cycles, this inturn impacts State-of-Health of battery, there by reducing capacity, thus causing more faster replacement cycle of Li-Ion battery. This novel method aims to quantitatively study this impact. The next step is to introduce an Ultra-capacitor and study how the SOH of a Li-Ion battery is improved.
