Hyundai dreams

As part of an internal competition, Hyundai designers let their minds wander through time, space, and perhaps some new dimension to conjure concepts that seem outlandish today.

Executive Vice President Oh Suk Geun, Hyundai Design Center, is an automotive designer through and through. A native of Korea, born July 17, 1959, he graduated from Seoul National University in 1984, obtaining a bachelor's degree in fine arts and industrial design. Oh studied and received a bachelor's in transportation design at the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA, in 1990.

In 1991, Oh joined the Hyundai America Design Studio as Chief Designer. His path took him to key positions in the group's international design network: Chief Designer of Kia Motors Design Center in Korea, 2001-2003; Design Director, Hyundai and Kia Design Center-Europe, 2003-2006; Deputy Head and Senior Vice President of Hyundai Design Center, 2006; EVP and Head of Hyundai Design Center, 2007.
