Cutting energy usage, reducing chemical waste can help companies save cash.

The relentless push to trim production costs is providing an extra benefit for many aircraft manufacturers. Many of their cost-cutting efforts are helping them respond to the green revolution, conserving energy and reducing the impact of toxic wastes.

Companies are also finding that in many communities, establishing environmental initiatives helps improve their corporate image. Often, meeting regulatory requirements and setting up green manufacturing programs is synergistic with the goal of saving cash, particularly true with energy conservation.
