Johnson Controls is positioned to supply everything from single components to complete interiors wherever in the world it is needed.

The automotive industry's sales are increasingly distributed to markets all over the world, and at the same time, the engineering talent needed to design components for those cars is also globally distributed, remarked Charles Baker, Group Vice President for Engineering in Johnson Controls' Automotive Experience division.

That scenario means that suppliers such as JCI are also increasingly spread over the globe, supporting customers as they move into new markets, tapping local talent to develop products for those markets, and enjoying the flexibility to let engineering resources in one region support others when they are overloaded.
