This year's Formula SAE car features a complete chassis redesign.

SINCE THE SAE COLLEGIATE DESIGN SERIES competitions are engineering-focused, they create an opportunity for students to push the boundaries and try things that could not be done elsewhere. Because the engineering world is such a complex and multidisciplinary field, to meet the growing requirements of the labor market, it is imperative that engineering students go through the process of developing a product from a blank sheet. In addition, teamwork is critical to the success of a Formula SAE team, as it teaches valuable lessons that can be applied in the real world. These principles were incorporated into the design process of the Formula ETS team from École de Technologie Supérieure.

This year marks a new beginning for Formula ETS, as the whole car's concept is revised based on a chassis design cycle. Because of this, the transfer of knowledge is a key element in a successful vehicle design. The essence of knowledge transfer lies in the methods and philosophies used by previous members, rather than their specific designs and ideas. Furthermore, on top of a well-organized work environment, alumni mentoring is essential.
