Nondestructive testing techniques evolve to accommodate new materials and digital capabilities.
Life is full of flaws, crack, voids, and weaknesses. When found in off-highway vehicles, however, those conditions can lead to breakdowns, defective vehicles, expensive repairs, and manufacturer recalls.
The industry has developed a number of nondestructive testing (NDT) techniques over the decades that are effective in finding flaws in either raw metals or fully formed structures.
