Content
The objective of this document is to develop the drag factor equation when a mobile with two wheels applies the brake on only one wheel. First, we find the front wheel load transfer due to the braking of the mobile. This load transfer is transformed into a factor between 0 and 1, and multiplies to the drag factor. The document shows the usual use of a wrong coefficient and analyzes the error that it can cause when estimating the initial mobile speed. At the end of this document we analyze the case with slope and develop the fundamental equation to be used for the case in which a mobile applies the brake with only one wheel.
