For the 2009 version of the AeroTech Congress and Exhibition, host company Boeing looks to reach all corners of the aerospace industry.
With its business spread across commercial and military sectors, and with capabilities touching on virtually all segments of the aerospace industry, including commercial airplanes, military aircraft, helicopters, satellites, tactical weapons, and communication systems, bringing a diverse viewpoint as host company of the SAE 2009 AeroTech Congress and Exhibition came naturally for The Boeing Co. With the previous two AeroTechs having a heavy military focus under host companies Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin, the 2009 event will mirror its host company, having a diverse mix of speakers and content spread across all facets of the aerospace industry.
“One of the key things we're trying to do this year is bring that broad global perspective to the conference,” said 2009 AeroTech Chair Dennis A. Muilenburg, Boeing Executive Vice President and CEO of the Boeing Integrated Defense Systems business unit. “We think it's in the best interest in the community that we take a broad, global perspective on the conference.”
