The growth of simulation software in the aerospace development industry has changed the conventional test program. Is this trend likely to continue?

With its wealth of experience in the world of simulation for a variety of industries, including aerospace, LMS is well versed in knowing what development engineers are looking for and, over the coming months and years, aims to evolve the current suite of products to help meet these needs.

“When it comes to evolving simulation and applications to support aircraft engineering, we start by looking at what is on the agenda,” said Jan Leuridan, Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at LMS. “With the adoption of more electrical systems, with needs to study interconnected working of the different aircraft systems, managing power distribution, and optimizing it all for reliability, weight, and energy use, there are a lot of challenges with integrated aircraft systems engineering, and achieving maturity as early a possible in development.”
