More components are designed with electronics in mind.
Electrohydraulic systems are moving to a new phase, bringing more capabilities as engineers design pumps to integrate electronics as a key component, not an add-on. That development brings more capabilities to system developers, who can also benefit from improved control software.
The past few months have seen the introduction of hydraulic valves that have been designed from the ground up for digital technologies, marking a significant transition. Most early electrohydraulic valves used “bolt-on” electronics, adding sensors to existing valves to get to market quickly and maintain known reliability levels.
