ADS-DVs promise to expand transportation options for individuals who have been historically underserved in personal transportation. However, for this to be truly realized, the unique needs of persons with disabilities (PWDs; including those who are deaf and hard of hearing, blind, have low vision, have upper body limitations, have lower body limitations, are wheelchair users, and have cognitive disabilities) should be understood at the design stage of vehicle development. This document presents a list of recommendations for use in the design and development of ADS-DVs based on the identified needs of PWDs. It considers the accessibility of services used to interact with the ADS-DV before the trip and the complete trip (including planning the trip and requesting the vehicle, determining a pickup location, finding the vehicle, authenticating the user, entering the vehicle, interacting with the vehicle while inside, determining a drop-off location, exiting the vehicle, and finding the

An Earned Value Management System (EVMS) integrates the work scope of a program with the schedule and cost elements for optimum program planning and control. The primary purpose of the system is to support integrated program management. The system is owned by the organization and is governed by the organization’s policies and procedures. The principles of an EVMS are: Plan all work scope for the program to completion. Break down the program work scope into finite pieces that are assigned to a responsible person or organization for control of technical, schedule, and cost objectives. Integrate program work scope, schedule, and cost objectives into a performance measurement baseline plan against which accomplishments are measured. Control changes to the baseline. Use actual costs incurred and recorded in accomplishing the work performed. Objectively assess accomplishments at the work performance level. Analyze significant variances from the plan, forecast impacts, and prepare an estimate

This standard specifies requirements for DPRV to establish common product/service requirements for use at all levels of the supply chain. This standard shall apply when an organization elects to delegate product release verification by contractual flow down to their supplier (reference 9100 and 9110 standards); to perform product acceptance on their behalf. The delegating organization shall use this standard as the baseline for establishing a DPRV process, although they may include additional contract requirements to meet their specific needs.

This document provides vehicle-level data collection, data analysis, and data verification procedures that may be used to verify that an instrument under test (IUT) satisfies the vehicle-level requirements specified in SAE J3161/1. For the purposes of this report, “vehicle-level requirements” primarily consist of those requirements which can be verified external to the vehicle. The IUT for these procedures is a configured LTE-V2X vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) device as defined in SAE J3161/1 and is installed on a vehicle of class 2, 3, 4, or 5. While the IUT is conceptually separated from the vehicle it is installed on, the tests outlined in this document are primarily vehicle level, so the terms “vehicle” and “IUT” can generally be considered interchangeable. Additionally, non-vehicle-level complementary tests, not included in this document, are required to verify that the entire set of requirements specified in SAE J3161/1 is satisfied. This document also includes a Traceability Matrix to

This document covers the process to be applied to design characteristics (as defined in AS9102), parts or inspection processes as defined by the purchaser. Design characteristics not included within the scope include electronic, electromechanical or mechanical systems where alternative means of acceptance are approved such as through acceptance test procedures (ATPs). This document does not define processes for identifying or communicating the classification of the parts or design characteristics. This document does not define the procedure to qualify a supplier to undertake these requirements. It is expected that each purchaser will have a procedure to manage the flow-down of these requirements. This document applies to suppliers that demonstrate adequate proficiency in applicable process control methods as determined by the purchaser.

This standard is applicable to all items used for manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of aviation, space, and defense products from the raw material to the final product (e.g., aircraft, structural items, constituent assemblies, standard parts, consumables with conformity and/or safety impact). This standard considers items dispositioned as scrap in accordance with 9100-series standards’ supporting nonconformity management, corrective action, or organization decisions (e.g., obsolescence, inventory management, missing traceability documentation). The requirements specified in this standard are complementary (not alternative) to contractual and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Should there be a conflict between the requirements of this standard and applicable statutory or regulatory requirements, the applicable statutory or regulatory requirements take precedence. This standard defines requirements and actions to be taken after the disposition decision to control the

This standard defines the requirements for the effective control of non-deliverable software. This standard can be used during the design, development, test, production, release, use, maintenance, and retirement of non-deliverable software. This can include non-deliverable software procured from external suppliers and utilized in the design, production, evaluation, test, acceptance, or calibration of a deliverable product. This standard focuses solely on the unique requirements of the operational processes that pertain to non-deliverable software as identified by clause 1.2. Operational processes not covered in this standard are addressed by the respective organization’s Quality Management System (QMS), based on the 9100-series (i.e., 9100, 9110, 9120) and/or ISO 9001 standards. If there is a conflict between the requirements of this standard, and customer or applicable statutory/regulatory requirements, the latter shall take precedence.

The objective of any organization, as part of continual improvement, is to reduce the number of issues (i.e., undesirable conditions, defects, failures) and to minimize their impact on quality, delivery performance, and cost. This includes having processes in place to detect and eradicate significant and recurrent issues, which implies having well identified problems, a common understanding of their impact and associated root causes, and having defined and implemented adequate actions so that these problems, including similar issues will not happen again.
