This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of sand, permanent mold, composite mold, and investment castings (see 8.6).
AMS D Nonferrous Alloys Committee
This specification covers two types of refined hydrocarbon compounds in the form of liquids. This specification only covers newly manufactured materials.
AMS K Non Destructive Methods and Processes Committee
This specification covers a corrosion- and heat-resistant nickel alloy in the form of investment castings.
AMS F Corrosion and Heat Resistant Alloys Committee
The scope of the analysis is on the GlobalPlatform Secure Element (SE) and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) standard specifications correspondence to SAE J3101 recommended practices. This analysis includes focuses on the platform specifications but not the scope of any future security application/applets. Both of these GlobalPlatform specifications have associated protection profiles to validate compliance, although GlobalPlatform does not currently have any specific SAE J3101 protection profiles. GlobalPlatform has communicated that it is assessing whether or not to develop application-level protection profiles to more explicitly cover the remaining requirements of SAE J3101 in order to allow for standardized testing and certification of complete solutions.
Vehicle Electrical System Security Committee
This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of permanent mold castings (see 8.6).
AMS D Nonferrous Alloys Committee
This document is reissued for application to helicopters.
S-12 Powered Lift Propulsion Committee
This standard is intended to provide corporations that develop embedded software for the automotive industry direction on how to effectively publish and promote their organization’s development capabilities. The organization’s maturity may be measured through several capability assessment methods; this document addresses how the results of those assessments are shared within the SAE J2746 Software Assessment Repository. The repository is the online database system utilized by the SAE to facilitate accurate and secure sharing of corporations’ software development capabilities. The SAE Software Assessment Repository is a web-based repository that allows organizations that develop embedded software to post and share their assessments in a uniform, disciplined manner. The repository does not mandate the use of one assessment method over another; rather, it reports the salient results from industry accepted assessment methods. It is important to recognize that both OEM’s and suppliers

This specification covers the requirements for four classes of machinable, high density tungsten base metal produced by consolidation of metal powder mixtures whose composition is mainly tungsten. This material may be used for uncoated parts or parts that may be coated with other materials for protection against corrosion and abrasion such as, electrodeposited and vacuum deposited cadmium and electrodeposited chromium. Detailed requirements for coatings should be covered in the applicable part drawing, when required.
AMS G Titanium and Refractory Metals Committee
This SAE Standard provides a method for determining stopping distances of all motor vehicles with any type of brake system.
Road Test Procedures Standards Committee
This SAE Recommended Practice establishes methods for describing and measuring the driver’s field of view. The document describes three methods for measuring the direct and indirect fields of view and the extent of obstructions within those fields. The first method uses any single pair of eye points to determine the fields or obstructions that would be seen by an individual driver. The second method uses the SAE Eyellipses defined in SAE J941 to determine the largest fields or obstructions that would be seen for a given percentage of the driving population. The third method uses specific eye points defined in SAE J941 to measure the extent of a specific field of view or obstruction for which those points were developed.

This Aerospace Standard (AS) establishes the requirements for suppliers of Chemical Processing Services to be accredited by Nadcap. Nadcap accreditation is granted in accordance with SAE AS7003 after demonstrating compliance with the requirements herein. These requirements may be supplemented by additional requirements specified by Nadcap Chemical Processes Task Group. Using the audit checklist (AC7108) will ensure that accredited Chemical Process suppliers meet all of the requirements in this standard and all applicable supplementary standards.

This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of castings.
AMS D Nonferrous Alloys Committee
The tests are static in nature to minimize complexity and cost of required testing facilities. As far as practical, applied static loads should take into account the combined static and dynamic loads anticipated in service. It is intended that tests shall be non-destructive in nature and not result in damage unless ultimate load conditions are employed. Test equipment and methods of testing described are not meant to be restrictive. Alternate equivalent methods to accomplish the desired results may be employed. In selected cases, tests may be repeated under ultimate load conditions when required for substantiation of analytical data. If this becomes necessary, the parts deformed may be removed and replaced prior to the retest.
