In the present study, jute/glass fiber-reinforced epoxy-based polymer hybrid composites were fabricated using the resin infusion technique. To compare various properties, composites were fabricated from pure jute fiber (100% jute), pure glass fiber (100% glass), and hybrid composites containing 75% jute and 25% glass fiber, 50% jute and 50% glass fiber, and 25% jute and 75% glass fiber. Various physical, mechanical, and tribological analyses were conducted. The results revealed that the hybrid composite containing 25% jute and 75% glass fiber exhibited the best performance, with a tensile strength of 177 MPa, a flexural strength of 188.3 MPa, an impact strength of 130 kJ/m², a storage modulus of 17,050 MPa, a loss modulus of 2,883 MPa, and minimal moisture absorption and wear loss. Compared to the pure jute fiber composite, this hybrid composite showed a 172% increase in tensile strength, a 278% increase in flexural strength, a 238% increase in impact strength, a 184% increase in hardness, a 431% increase in storage modulus, a 454% increase in loss modulus, an 88% decrease in moisture absorption, and a 100% decrease in wear loss.
