- The article presents measurement results from a semi-anechoic automotive EMC chamber with different electric drivetrains under various loading conditions. The measurements are conducted based on CISPR 12 standard guidelines, in which radiated broadband emission in the frequency range of 30 MHz to 1GHz using quasi peak and peak detectors are measured. Two wheeler, three wheeler and passenger cars with various drivetrains are selected for this study. Usually the measurements are done with no road loading condition as per standard recommendation. But in this paper we studied the effects of various parameters such as rolling, wind, and gradient resistance with the help of chassis dynamometer. The study examines and discusses how various vehicle architecture behaves under different conditions. According to the study, there are particular drive trains that emits more electromagnetic emissions when they are under various loading situations.
