Applications of Holography

A revival of interest in holography has been accompanied by suggestions of many new potential uses. Some of these uses may prove to be less successful than nonholographic methods, but possible applications, present and future, are being surveyed.

Holographic uses discussed in this paper are storage, hologram interferometry, disdrometry, and ultrasonic imagery.
