Abstract
Content
The rapid expansion of the superhighway systems will result in a much larger percentage of car operation at sustained high speed.
Car components associated with performance, convenience, and comfort have a significant effect on fuel economy during city traffic operation and on the congested highways of the past. On modern superhighways these components have a small effect on fuel economy. The major factor in high speed fuel economy is car size.
