Harness Covering Standards Committee
The Harness Covering Committee is part of the Electrical Distribution Systems Standards Committee that reports to the Electrical Systems Group of the Motor Vehicle Council. The Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining SAE Standards, Recommended Practices, and Information Reports related to the technology that treats the physical protection of wiring harnesses and those components responsible for physical protection. Test methods and specifications associated with those components are included in the scope. Participants in the Harness Covering Committee include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government, and other interested parties.
