Scope
This SAE Standard covers ordering information for J517 100R Series hose materials for hydraulic hose assemblies using connectors specified in SAE Standard J516 or all parts of ISO 12151 for use in hydraulic systems using petroleum based hydraulic fluids.
Rationale
This new proposed J1754-Part 3 standard is intended to establish general specification, performance requirements and
uniform methods for testing and evaluation for hydraulic hose and hose assemblies using SAE J517 100R Series type hose materials. This standard covers SAE J517 100R Series hose type materials in hose assemblies using end connectors specified in SAE J516, ISO12151, and ISO6162 Standards for use in hydraulic systems. See J1754-Part 3, Table 7 for 100R Series hose materials and identification codes. Use SAE J1754-2 for all hose material specifications not shown.

* Redlines comparisons are available for those standards
listed in the Revision History that contain a radio button. A
redline comparison of the current version against a revision is
accomplished by selecting the radio button next to the standard and
then selecting 'compare'. At this time, Redline versions only exist
for some AMS standards. SAE will continue to add redline versioning
with ongoing updates to SAE MOBILUS.
