Scope
This SAE Standard covers material and dimensional requirements of steel clip fastener fittings. These fittings are intended for use in hydraulic systems on industrial equipment primarily in mining applications.
Rationale
All Figures were redrawn and Tables were reformatted to provide more legible graphics.
The addition of 4.6 Pressure Ratings specifies the pressure requirements for clip fastener fittings.
The addition of ISO 3601-3:1987 provides standardization of the sealing components for clip fastener fittings. Industry requirements mandate the 96 h salt spray test in accordance with ASTM B 117.
SAE J1467 has been reformatted to meet SAE Technical Standards Board format and general continuity of presentation.

* Redlines comparisons are available for those standards
listed in the Revision History that contain a radio button. A
redline comparison of the current version against a revision is
accomplished by selecting the radio button next to the standard and
then selecting 'compare'. At this time, Redline versions only exist
for some AMS standards. SAE will continue to add redline versioning
with ongoing updates to SAE MOBILUS.
