Scope
This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) establishes the general requirements for spring-loaded, normally closed check valves for use in Type I, Type II, or Type III aircraft and missile hydraulic systems having nominal operating pressure shown in Table 1.

Issuing Committee
A6C5 is responsible for the development of standards, processes, and practices for Commercial and Military air vehicle components related to SAE A6 Aerospace Actuation, Control, and Fluid Power Systems. The Panel provides a forum for component users and producers to exchange technical information, regulatory updates, recent technology developments, issues related to system development and in service operation and lessons learned.
