Scope
This specification establishes requirements for pressure-sensitive adhesive tape designed for masking and color separation during aircraft painting operations.
Rationale
This revision updates properties and test methods for pressure-sensitive adhesive tape and adds requirements for a qualified products list (QPL). The revision also reformats the specification to current SAE and G-8 guidelines.
