Content: This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, forgings, flash welded rings 4.000 inches (101.60 mm) and under in nominal diameter or distance between parallel sides, and stock for forging or flash welded rings of any size.

Content: AMS4930J results from a Five-Year Review and update of this specification that that revises composition analytical methods (3.1), prohibits unauthorized exceptions (3.9), added AMS2368 (4.3 and 4.5), and revises reporting (4.4) and identification (5.1.1).
