Scope
This SAE Aerospace Information Report (AIR) defines the helicopter bleed air requirements which may be obtained through compressor extraction and is intended as a guide to engine designers.
Rationale
AIR984D moves document references to an applicable documents section, corrects referenced FAA regulation, and moves the figures to a more appropriate section. Minor grammar, reference, and typographical errors are also fixed. A typo in the equation units is fixed. This revision is the result of a Five-Year Review and update of this information report. All changes were considered editorial.
