This SAE Special Publication includes papers from the Alternate Fuels sessions at the 2002 Spring Fuels and Lubricants Meeting and Exhibition. Technologies include a diverse group of subjects in oxygenates such as dimethyl ether, 1,3-dioxalane, di- tertiary-butyl peroxide, and dimethoxymethane and in alternative fuels such as natural gas, propane, and a mixture of biomass- based gas blended with natural gas.
