Design Review Based on Failure Modes (DRBFM) and Design Review Based on Test Results (DRBTR) Process Guidebook
This process guidebook describes the Design Review Based on Failure Modes (DRBFM) methodology, as defined by Dr. Tatsuhiko Yoshimura, and introduces Design Review Based on Test Results (DRBTR), a methodology designed to evaluate products after test, regardless of pass or fail. Identified observations are intended to uncover potential issues that will happen later in the product life cycle or with variation from the manufacturing process. This guidebook provides an introduction and foundation for DRBFM and DRBTR for anyone who is interested in implementing part or all of the methodologies. Topics include:
