Truck and Bus Human Factors Committee
The Truck and Bus Human Factors Committee of the Truck and Bus Council is responsible for developing, reviewing, and approving Recommended Practices, Standards, and Information Reports related to both driver packaging and physical accommodation (such as, but not limited to driver cockpit accommodation, visibility, ingress/egress) and the cognitive impact of user-vehicle interface design (such as, but not limited to control/display layout and cognitive distraction). Included are trucks, tractors, buses with GVWRs greater than 10,000 lbs. designed primarily for highway use.
