The Automotive Iron and Steel Castings Committee of the MTEC develops and maintains SAE Standards, Recommended Practices and Information Reports relating to commercially produced iron and steel castings for the purpose of supporting the design, manufacturing and quality assurance needs of the global casting user community. Participants in the Automotive Iron and Steel Castings Committee include OEMs, suppliers, consulting firms, government and other interested parties.
