- This SAE Standard covers a terminal footprint for mini and micro relays used in surface vehicle electrical systems.
- Content
- This standard was created as an alternate to the existing ISO 7880 and ISO 7588 specification for relay footprints. The 280 footprint will alow flexibility in future electrical systems that is not possible with the current ISO footprint. This document has been prepared in the ANSI format and utilizes GD&T tolerancing techniques. The 280 footprint is not intended to be a replacement for the ISO footprint, but rather an optional footprint for electrical systems which require maximum flexibility in wire routing techniques and device placement.
