Nissan's first full-size pickup provides frame strength, payload capacity, towing muscles, and other attributes as it enters a playing field dominated by Ford, General Motors, and Dodge.

Nissan decided it wanted a piece of the full-size truck market about four years ago, and after much research and development the 2004. Titan has arrived. Targeted to the “Modern Truck Guy,” whose primary truck use is personal, but not forgetting the “Traditional Truck Guy,” whose primary use is generally work or business, the Titan makes its way into the full-size pickup market armed and ready to give the competition a run for its money

“We have to conquest from the domestics, and in order to do that we have to have the right product,” said Larrv Dominique, Chief Product Specialist for Trucks and SUVs in the Product Planning Department at Nissan North America, Inc., located in Gardena, CA.
