Scope
This specification establishes requirements for two types of aircraft floor fittings for tiedown of cargo and seats, and two types of cargo tiedown rings.
Rationale
At the Fall 2011 meeting, it was decided that this document should be Stabilized as it contains basic and stable technology which is not dynamic in nature.

Issuing Committee
Committee AGE-2 reports to the Aerospace General Projects Division. The main, or governing committee, AGE-2, is composed of the most experienced members, mainly from the airlines, airframe manufacturers, and support equipment manufacturers, to provide leadership and guidance for the Membership to implement the work is drawn with reasonable balance from airlines, airframe manufacturers, support equipment manufacturers, and others with special aircraft related expertise. Members serve based on their knowledge, expertise, and experience and not as agents or representatives of any organization.
