Scope
The purpose of this document is to present the needs and goals required to promote and develop probabilistic methods. These needs and goals were determined by the initial meetings of the Probabilistic Working group. The following sections provide the explanation of the key issues and participant concerns and experiences they have had with the technology of probabilistic methods.

The G-11PM/UQ Committee is a part of SAE's G-11 Division. The Committee has the charter to facilitate industry consensus on Probabilistic Methods and Uncertainty Quantification approaches in order to enhance the competitiveness of industry by enabling more intelligent, affordable, and reliable product development and deployment life-cycles.
