The revision updates the Title to match the scope and melt practice, prohibits unauthorized exceptions (3.7, 4.4.4, 5.2.1.1, 8.7), updates composition testing (3.1), updates heat treatment specification (3.3.2), updates macrostructure (3.4.1.1, 3.4.1.2, 8.9), updates decarburization test methods (3.4.3.4), adds strain rate control for tensile tests (3.4.1.1), updates heat treatment to allow alternate cooling methods (3.4.4, 3.4.4.2), amends Table 7, adds note on stock removal (8.6), and allows prior revisions (8.8).
