The committee of Nondestructive Methods and Processes, AMS Committee K, shall prepare, coordinate, and revise documents related to nondestructive testing technology, such as fluroescent penetrant, magnetic particle, X-ray, ultrasonic, and eddy current, through the participation of manufacturer's suppliers, users, and interested government agencies. Committee activities shall provide a forum for the cooperative interchange of ideas and experience of the participants, resulting in the publication of specifications that embody sound, established aerospace industry practices, and requirements to serve the suppliers and customers of aerospace materials.
