- AMS2482F results from a Five-Year Review and update of this specification with updated wording for fixture/electrical contact locations per GAB19AB (OI, 3.1.2), addition of wheel speed to abrasion resistance test as this is a standard requirement (3.3.3), clarification of the type of coefficient of friction (3.3.4), addition that Type 1 coating may exhibit staining due to PTFE (3.4), addition of standard wording for periodic testing suspension (4.2.2.1), addition of updated lot definition per GAB16AA (4.3.1), deletion of wording regarding supplementary sealing as there is no sealing in this AMS (4.3.3.4), and added fixture contact locations and stripping procedure to control factors (4.4.3).
