This specification covers the requirements for electrodeposited zinc-nickel on metal parts, including fasteners and other standard parts.
Rationale
AMS2461 establishes requirements for applying a highly corrosion resistant zinc-nickel plating, that is a preferred cadmium alternative for fasteners and standard parts.
The committee of Finishes, Processes, and Fluids, AMS Committee B, shall prepare, coordinate, and revise documents related to processing technology, such as plating, brazing, coatings and compounds, through the participation of process suppliers, users, and interested government agencies. Committee activities shall provide a forum for the cooperative interchange of ideas and experience of the participants, resulting in the publication of specifications that embody sound, established aerospace industry practices and requirements to serve the suppliers and customers of aerospace processes.

Using Quotes
Words in double quotes " " are treated as a phrase. Conducting a search for "heat model" will return all results in which the exact phrase "heat model" is found, while "heat modeling" would NOT be included.
A term combined with a phrase will be joined with an OR operator.
