This AIR discusses the nature, method of manufacture and chemistry of fine wire meshes of the type used for filtration and similar applications, and how this information may be utilized in setting up a quality control program to insure reliability of meshes used for such applications.

A6C1 is responsible for the development of standards, processes, and practices related to Aerospace Fluids and Systems' cleanliness in aerospace engines, hydraulic systems and missiles, and the integration of these components for Commercial and Military air vehicles. The panel provides a forum for government engineers, prime contractors, and suppliers to exchange technical information, regulatory updates, recent technology developments, issues related to system development and in service operation and lessons learned.
