- This paper surveys the operations of the ISS US Life Support System Flight Control Team. The paper presents information on the responsibilities of this team and the tasks that support each of them. These tasks are divided into design support, operations products (such as procedures, flight rules and displays), mission planning, training, and mission execution. The paper addresses interaction with the crew, Russian and space shuttle flight control teams, mission planners and other program organizations. A review of the facilities, tools and processes used in Mission Control Center - Houston is provided, as well as a review of training assets, curriculum, and simulations.
