Authors Abstract
Content
A new method of testing gearboxes (wheels, clutches and bearings) allows the very early detection of cracks and pittings. Testbenches can be switched off before damage occurs. All data are stored and can be used to reconstruct the test run without running a testbench for detailed analyses. During this reconstruction most parameters can be changed to optimize the analysis.
