Abstract
Three Way Catalyzer (TWC) is the most common exhaust gas treatment device for a gasoline engine. In order to use TWC effectively, however, A/F must be kept within so-called window, which is a very narrow range. But as well known when an engine is in transient state, useful system can't keep A/F within window because of losing the balance of fuel adhesion and evaporation in the intake manifold. For this, feedfoward system with adaptive neural network is applied to keep A/F within window even in transient state. Relatively good results were obtained
