A Study on the Booming Noise Reduction of Automobile Using Effectiveness Analysis

The noise inside a car can be divided into solid noise and air noise depending on the channel of conveyance. In order to reduce this noise inside a car, we need to analyze the channel of conveyance as well as the characteristics of noise and vibration source. In this research, we have analyzed the conveyance channel of the booming noise in a vehicle and presented the results of experiments and entry changes performed as a report concerning the vector synthesis technology. We have presented the measures for reducing the booming noise using the results of our analysis, and we found that the booming could be effectively reduced when we had actually applied the measures to an automobile.
