Authors Abstract
Content
A study of techniques improving the expertise of three-dimensional separated flows in automotive aerodynamics from experiments has been done. First, a computer-assisted analysis technique for wall-flow visualization understanding is presented. This approach, which concerns the wall of the body, is followed by a three-dimensional reconstitution of the wake by an harmonic analysis. Finally it is completed by a numerical reconstruction of the wall total pressure field through total pressure measurements in the wake. Results of these techniques are presented for some typical Renault models and discussed.
