Event: JSAE Autumn Conference
In recent years, global environmental preservation and energy saving have become primary objectives even for the truck engine. The 3RZ-FE engine, which is newly-developed to succeed the 2R-E engine, is an in-line 4-cylinder 2.7- liter gasoline engine. With such features as 16-valve DOHC, well tuned intake system and a pair of balance shafts built into the cylinder block, this engine provides high performance, low fuel consumption, low exhaust emission levels, low noise and vibration levels and high reliability.
