Diesel Fuel Lubricity BOTD Status - 1995

Previous test efforts with the Ball on Three Disks on the Four Ball Test Machine gave good results as described in the SAE paper “Diesel Fuel Lubricity Utilizing a Ball on Three Disks, BOTD.” That paper references the new development of a less expensive, dedicated BOTD Test Machine to perform the same tests and the new machine and test data obtained is documented in this paper.
